To coincide with "Secrets and Stories", a new BBC documentary about the life & work of Paula Rego, airing on BBC Two on Saturday the 25th March 2017 and directed by her son Nick Willing. Notoriously private and guarded, Rego opens up for the first time in Secrets and Stories about untold experiences from her exceptional life. The works in Marlborough’s exhibition reflect a particular experience discussed during the film.

The Anglo-Portuguese Society by kind invitation of Marlborough Fine Art invite you to see a previously unseen series of eleven large pastel works on paper created by Rego between 2006-7 and hear a talk by Times art critic Rachel Campbell-Johnston.

"Comunidade Vida e Paz", Community, Life & Peace helps people of all ages who are either homeless, at risk of homelessness or in situations of social vulnerability. Street teams, medical intervention & different layers of accommodation provision are just some of the ways that the community works to ensure that everyone they meet gets the help they need.

This is the first step the society is taking to strengthen its charitable aims & help those in the UK or Portugal who are affected by homelessness.
